Vivian as you may or may not know was a vocalist in the original Band 9.. she is such a vibrant and creative person... and I am  so blessed to be friends with her.

So, this a glimpse of how talented she really is and together we were unstoppable.

It isn't easy being a rockstar... these BBC people just don't understand.

I can seriously understand why rockstars get fed up after awhile.. I remember when I had a few guitar lessons, my teacher was like well at least i don't have to be on the road all the time, living out of a suit case and eaten Ramen Noodles. lol

That's why it's so important to remember why you love music in the first place!

and by the way.. if he ever goes back to Nebraska and starts giving guitar lessons.. I'm hopping on the first flight to live at my cousins house, I'd work at her Martini Bar to get on my feet and than I'll be enrolling in James' guitar class ;)

So, like about a year ago Madonna calls me up and she was a bit frustrated because she couldn't think of a title for her new album... so I got to talking to her and I told her that she's Madonna and that she could title it "poop" and people would still buy it. So, she laughed and said that was true and asked me how I was doing. I told her I was doing good and that I was putting out a new EP and that I was thinking about calling it Music Candy because of a weird dream I had about Yoko Ono handing me candy... and suddenly she cried out "LISA THAT IS BRILLANT!!! " And I was like... Madonna, don't be stealing my ideas!!

So, she said she wouldn't, but she loved the candy idea.. so we came to a compromise...

I told her I would call mine Music Candy cause I'm new to the music business and that she should call hers Hard Candy since she's been on the scene for a long time..

Plus, I was like damnit Madonna you have a sex book for heaven's sake ... so you need to call your new album Hard Candy.



So, she agreed... and the rest is history.
