Splashing Violet is a new group recently formed in 2011. The band is now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic bass player and drummer to contribute their own talents and styles to form the new "Splashing Violet" sound.
Splashing Violet was founded by Singer/Songwriter Lisa Cavallaro who hit the music scene with a bang in 2008 with her catchy rock EP, Music Candy. Lisa's talents proved lasting, as she continued to expand her new rock sound playing shows within the Philadelphia scene at venues like The North Star Bar, Triumph Brewery, Hangar 84, as well as, various bars, clubs, and cafes.
Lisa's melodic retro rock and pop driven songwriting style caught the attention of her local music community with an abundance of radio requests for her debut single "What is Love" on 93.7 WSTW's Hometown Heroes and a television debut with a live performance on Wilmington's-Delaware 28, as a guest on The Tim Qualls Show.
Splashing Violet recently added their newest member to the group, Amy Shelton as their lead guitarist.
If interested, please contact Lisa via e-mail at info@lisarocks.net The group is seeking professional and focused musicians who are fun, but willing to do the work it takes to make a band a true success.
